Now retired, Jeff has over 30 years experience of teaching English and English Literature in Wales and in South America, where with his wife Sue he served alongside the South American Missionary Society. A lay communicant within the Church in Wales, he continues to be involved in leading worship and teaching; over the years he has also led several Christian retreats and workshops at parish level and wider, and has been a speaker at Christian Writers’ groups.
A lifelong love of poetry has meant that he has always written, has been published in several magazines, and his self-published Lent book of poems and prayers has been widely used and appreciated. With an equal interest in contemporary song, Jeff has also performed his own compositions at several folk clubs and festivals. He continues to enjoy both writing and encouraging others to do so, especially perhaps in the context of exploring and expressing aspects of faith.
