Gethin has twice worked for Cytûn (Churches together in Wales), as Secretary for the Covenanted Churches (including the Church in Wales) and Assistant General Secretary from 2003-5, and currently as Policy Officer. Gweddïo yn Gymraeg – mamiaith neu ail iaith
Pray in Welsh – Mother tongue or second language
I rai ohonom, y Gymraeg yw ein hiaith gyntaf, yr iaith y buom yn gweddïo ynddi ers cael ein geni. Mae eraill ohonom wedi dysgu’r Gymraeg, ac efallai nad yw siarad â Duw yn Gymraeg yn dod yn naturiol i ni. Bydd y gweithdy hwn yn gyfle i rannu profiadau a gweddïo gyda’n gilydd yn Gymraeg. Bydd croeso i’r sawl sy’n dysgu’r Gymraeg. Cynhelir y gweithdy trwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg.
Whether as first language or a language learned later in life, many of us pray in Welsh. This workshop will give Welsh-speakers (first or learned language) an opportunity to share experiences and pray together. The workshop will be conducted in Welsh.
The maximum number of participants in each workshop is limited, so book early to avoid disappointment!
