To Hell’s Mouth and Back: Suffering and Growth in our Journeys
Trystan Owain Hughes explores his own experience of suffering, considering how pain and disability can be redeemed and transformed. Five years back, after a gruelling 140 - mile pilgrimage walking from one side of North Wales to the other, he found himself facing another very different pilgrimage as he recovered from a reoccurrence of a serious back injury. In this session, Trystan will examine how common experiences of pilgrimage are also echoed in the challenges of our life journeys. Alongside accessible and engaging stories about both challenges, he will reflect theologically and spiritually on the journeys we all face, as we search for God’s presence in our joys and pains.
The maximum number of participants in each workshop is limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
