SPEAKER: AMEIRA BAHADUR-KUTKUT, MUSLIM CHAPLAIN FOR CARDIFF METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY

Born and raised in Cardiff, she is a scholar in Islamic theology and is also a Doctoral researcher exploring women’s wellbeing in Islamic Ethics. Ameira has been involved in interfaith events for over 10 years through a number of organisations.

THEME OF THIS WORKSHOP

My session will be titled ‘Islam, Spirituality & Prayer’. The session will be an overview of Spirituality and worship within Islam and will include details on set worship as well as cultivating spirituality within our daily lives. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions about Islam and Muslims. The session will not include shared prayers but instead will be an open space for discussion. islam and spirituality
