Before moving to Penarth, she lived and worked in London for many years firstly as a Teacher and Mentor and then later as a B.A.C.P. Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist in Private Practice with adults and also as a Secondary School Counsellor with the Catholic Children’s Society. She also has qualifications and experience in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching. With a deep interest in Celtic Spirituality, the natural world, sacred places, creativity and the power of stories to uplift and heal, she has been writing mystical poetry and reflections, as well as teen literature, using the pen name of IonaIf Jenkins. After attending a short course at the London Spirituality Centre, several years ago, Annie developed a keen interest in the Labyrinth as a way to facilitate walking prayer, contemplation, raising spiritual awareness and increasing our Christ connection. Since then she has walked many Labyrinths herself, worked with their spiritual possibilities and now facilitates workshops for the Llandaff Diocese Spirituality Group.

The labyrinth will be laid out in the school chapel.
You will be supplied with white socks to wear for your walk to protect the cream canvas.
Writing and drawing materials will be supplied if you choose to record impressions or experiences after your walk.
You will also be able to walk through the labyrinth during the lunch hour.
The workshop begins with a presentation about the history and use of the labyrinth, and we will learn how to use finger labyrinths. The group will be guided into a short meditation to help you become more aware of your personal focus, followed by prayer before walking the labyrinth itself.
The workshop will end with the group sharing in any discussion before the closing prayers.
The maximum number of participants in each workshop is limited, so book early to avoid disappointment!
